Jindires Local Council   

The establishment of the Jinderes Local Council followed that of the Afrin Provisional Local Council.

The Jinderes Local Council comprises of a total of 15 members with 11 Kurds and 4 Arabs, and with Subi Rizik as the elected chairperson.

Chairperson Rizik has declared that the multiethnic council’s main objective is to improve on the town’s schools and health facilities, develop its sewage system, and enhance its security infrastructure.

As does the Afrin council, Jindires’ local council will also operate under the council of Aleppo.
