Control of Agrarian Lands in Syria

The map that shows the fertile agrarian lands in Syria is at least as important as the map that shows the political control of Syrian lands. In this regard, the lands in northern Syria are extremely fertile. Of the Syrian agrarian lands, 57% is in the hands of the PYD/YPG, 27% in the hands of the regime, 15 % in the hands of the opposition and roughly 1% is controlled by Daesh.
